The ball screw spline is a linear rotating component, where the ball screw groove intersects with the ball keyway on the shaft, and a dedicated support bearing is installed between the ball spline and the outer cylindrical screw of the ball screw. By rotating or stopping the nut and spline shaft, a shaft can independently perform three forms of motion: rotation, linear motion, and spiral motion. Specific applications include horizontal multi joint robots, assembly robots, automatic loaders, machining centers, and other mechanical equipment. The axial clearance of the ball spline is zero because the ball spline has no angular contact structure in the direction of rotation, and its stroke has no practical effect. Therefore, its positioning accuracy is high, its weight is relatively light, and its volume is relatively small. The nut and support shaft are integrated structures, achieving high-precision small volume design. The nut has low gravity and inertia, and strong response ability. The design of the ball spline shaft ensures that the steel ball will not fall off even when pulled down from the shaft, making assembly easier. By fixing the bolt on the support seat step by step, the ball spline spline can be easily installed. Pay attention to the use of the inner diameter tolerance of the support seat. Ball screws generally use end cap circulation, with low noise and smooth operation. The ball screw side support shaft adopts an axial high rigidity 60 degree contact angle, while the ball spline side support bearing adopts a torque direction high rigidity 30 degree contact angle, which can obtain a high rigidity support bearing. At the same time, special rubber sealing rings are generally equipped as standard to prevent foreign objects from entering. When using precision components such as ball splines, regular maintenance and protection should be carried out to extend their service life and maintain their accuracy.
