Assembly of ball spline
Please follow the steps below:
1) Tighten screw cap
The fastening of the screw cap and hole seat of the ball spline is usually done in the middle.
Loose fasteners can be used without requiring precision or rigidity.
2) Insert the keyway screw cap
Inserting the keyway screw cap into the hole seat may affect operation, so in order to prevent the guard from being impacted, please use an installation fixture to insert it.
3) Insert spline shaft
When inserting the spline shaft into the spline shaft screw cap, in order to prevent the ball from slipping off, seal the track groove of the shaft and the ball row of the spline screw cap
Insert the pad after aligning its position.
Ball splines are treated with rust inhibitors that have affinity with all mineral oil series lubricants. Oil or grease can be used for lubrication, and grease lubrication can increase the sealing effect of the gasket and adhere well to the ball spline. Therefore, it is recommended to use grease. When adding grease, a ball spline with oil holes machined in the screw cap should be used.
Although ball splines use special rubber gaskets for dust prevention, it is recommended to install dust-proof tools that can protect the spline shaft from large foreign objects such as cutting blades or sand when there is a large amount of foreign matter or dust floating, such as telescopic sleeves and covers.
The ball spline can reach a maximum temperature of 120 ℃ in discontinuous moments and 80 ℃ in continuous use. When the temperature exceeds 80 ℃
When the direction and position of the keyway shaft and screw cap are the same, the accuracy of the ball spline is adjusted to the optimal state. When installing on the machine, pay attention to preventing changes in the direction of rotation of the screw cap and spline shaft, as well as the configuration and direction of rotation of the screw cap. When fixing two or more buttons in the rotation direction of the outer cylinder by using two or more screw caps on one axis, the button slots of the screw caps should be parallel
